The complimentary buffet breakfast, served daily from 8 AM, was a feast for the senses. As an art historian with a penchant for Turkey's rich heritage, Istanbul's gastronomic scene always fascinates me. One morning, I found myself drawn to Karadeniz Pide ve Kebap Salonu, a mere 0.19 km from the hotel, where I indulged in authentic Turkish kebabs that left my taste buds tingling. Another evening, I ventured to Sark Sofrasi Bitlis Buryan Salonu, just 1.10 km away, and savored traditional Bitlis cuisine under the starlit sky. Amidst my exploration of Istanbul's culinary treasures, Herton's central location near Istiklal Street provided the perfect base. the proximity to iconic landmarks like Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque made my dining excursions seamless. In conclusion, Herton not only offers a comfortable stay but also serves as a gateway to Istanbul's vibrant gastronomic scene.
